I often drink ginger tea when I have indigestion and nausea, but I also drink it for the taste. I enjoy the spicy flavor. Sometimes I combine this ginger tea with a slice of lemon, teaspoon of honey and even a lump of crystallized ginger in hot water. If you would like, you can steep fresh ginger root in boiling water for about 10 minutes, then add lemon for some bitterness to balance the spice. Don't be fooled by "ginger ale" when you are sick.
