6 week courses are a great way to introduce more advanced positions in a safe way. In this 6 week program, I apply yoga postures, breath work and mindfulness to support people in an office environment. Each week varies in focus, with particular attention to common problem areas like wrists, shoulders, hips, low back and hamstrings. This is suited for beginners and intermediate yogis. Hatha yoga poses, moving meditation, visualization, awareness and proprioception will be explored. Class times can vary from the morning before work, lunchtime or after work.
Workplace Events
I also offer yoga for once off events such as conferences or wellness weeks. This is a great opportunity as a trial class for the possibility of signing on for a recurring class. There is a maximum of 30 people per class.
Benefits & Cost Savings
In 2017, a study was conducted in England for NHS workers and the benefits of adopting yoga in the workplace. The study found that overall quality of life of employees was enhanced, employees had less back pain and absenteeism was reduced showing significant cost savings.
